It's been a few years since I've done anything with the Princess Bride characters, and recently I got inspired to get back into that a bit. Here's Inigo, Fezzik and Vizzini as the infamous Cicillian Crowd ('cause even then two's company, three's a crowd). I like to think I'm a much better colorist and cartoonist now than I was then, so I'll be curious to see where I can go with these characters now that it's three years later.

The inspiration for this originally was to take the sequences from the book that didn't make the movie and design them as short animated pieces or comic books but with characters based on the book's descriptions more than on the movie's depictions. Those sequences are Inigo's Story, Fezzik's Story and the Zoo of Death. Lots of good writing, action, adventure and comedy in those pieces and I've wanted to see them moving for a while. Might never happen, but it's a fun excercise sometimes anyway.
