I've been wanting to do a run of characters in a Wizard of Oz vein for a while, and did a Scarecrow a while back that I rather like [link] , and Tigeresque [link] was kind of a take on the Cowardly Lion (well, not really, but still he was the same general idea), but I was having a hard time getting a Tin Man I liked. I knew I wanted to give him more of the feel of a worn, burly lumberjack, strong but tired, and I also wanted him to have what looked like a beard and mustache, but I was having a hard time visualizing it. I think this one does the trick, though.

Yes, I think you pulled it off very well!
That is one awesome tin-man! I like the contrast of the upper body compared to the lower body. It really gives the picture that extra special touch.
Nice, I love it. I especially like the large, burly arms. My only crit would be the lack of a nose. Though, I'm sure entirely sure how he'd look with one or kind of nose for that matter. But to me the screw alone looks just a little iffy. But really, nice design.
Nice work!

Very nice... are his forearms made out of ovens?

Kind of. I figured it would be fun to have his forearms be a pair of coal-burners that power the pistons on his upper-arms, so his arms work like two steam-locomotives when he's chopping wood.
That's cool. Thanks for the info.
